6 Google Chrome iPhone Personalizations You Should Try
Google Chrome has just updated some settings for users to change the Chrome interface according to their needs. For example, you can change the location of the address bar on Chrome or turn off the information feed from Google Discover,... Below are the personalizations on Google Chrome iPhone.
1. Customize menu on Google Chrome
Previously, Chrome did not have an option to customize the browser menu, but the new version allows you to change it.
Step 1:
We click on the 3 dots icon at the bottom of the left screen interface, then click on Customize menu .
Step 2:
At the top, users can delete or add other shortcuts to use. Press the - sign to delete a shortcut and press the + sign to add a shortcut . Then the hidden shortcut will appear below.
Once you've finished customizing the shortcuts, click the Done button in the upper right corner to save.
2. Edit the action menu on Chrome
You can change the actions you want to display at the top of the action menu.
You also click on the 3 dots icon and select Customize menu . Next we see the action list . If you want to hide any action , uncheck the circle at that action.
Or press and hold the 3-dash icon to change the display order for actions. Whichever action you use frequently, move it up.
3. Change the location of the address bar on Chrome
You choose whether you want the address bar to be on the top or bottom, similar to changing the address bar position on Safari.
On the Chrome interface, you will see information from the Discover feed, click on the gear icon and select Off .
As a result, we will no longer see the content in the Explore section.
5. Set time for inactive tab
Users will choose how long recently unused tabs will remain inactive on the browser.
Step 1:
Users click on Settings on the browser then click on the Cards section to adjust.
Step 2:
You will then see the Inactive section to adjust the time for the inactive tab. Now you will have different time options to move the inactive tab. You click on the time you want and then click Done in the right corner to save the changes.
6. Set default mail application on iPhone
Even Chrome has a choice of which application to open email content with. You can change to the default mail application, Gmail.
Step 1:
We also click on Settings on the browser and select Content Settings . Next, click on Default Apps to adjust.
Step 2:
In the Mail section you will see the default mail application option. We click on the Gmail application to select.
