8 useful Good Lock modules you should know

There are some really outstanding Good Lock modules out there. Some of them have completely changed the way many people use their phones, making them wish they had discovered them sooner.

Table of Contents

1. One Hand Operation+

The One Hand Operation+ module in Good Lock lets you add even more of these features to your Samsung phone.

With this module, you can set up three different swipe gestures on the left and right edges of the screen: swipe out and up, swipe out and down, and the standard straight swipe. On your phone, configure these swipes to perform tasks like taking a screenshot, switching to the previous app, and turning off the screen.

What’s more, you can set these same gestures to perform different actions when you press and hold. Set one of the press and hold gestures to open the quick tools menu, giving you instant access to Wi-Fi , Bluetooth , auto-rotate, and other useful toggles. Long-swipe again to open the quick launcher so you can access your most-used apps.

2. Home Up

Home Up involves personalizing the look of your home screen, app drawer, and recent apps menu. It allows you to adjust the grid size on both the home screen and app drawer, so you can arrange your apps exactly how you want.

If you enable the page loop option, scrolling through multiple app screens becomes seamless and smooth. But my favorite part of Home Up is the option to hide app labels. Many people like a minimalist look on their phones, and this simple tweak really enhances the overall aesthetic.

You can also use Home Up to customize your recent apps layout, as the grid layout makes switching between apps faster and more efficient.

3. Theme Park

For anyone who loves to customize, Theme Park is a joy to use. Instead of searching for the perfect theme on the Galaxy Store, create one from scratch with Theme Park.

First, you choose a wallpaper from the Gallery or Galaxy Store. Once you’ve picked the perfect wallpaper, you can tweak your keyboard, Quick Settings panel, and icons to match it. You can even customize the color of the volume rocker so it doesn’t stand out awkwardly.

Furthermore, Theme Park allows you to change the shape of app icons on your Samsung phone, making them look uniform, like having a personal design studio for your Galaxy device.

4. Keys Cafe

Keys Cafe works similarly to Theme Park, but focuses entirely on the keyboard. With Keys Cafe, you can tweak every aspect of your Samsung Keyboard—from key colors and effects to sounds and layouts when typing.

What I love most about Keys Cafe is that users can create custom keyboards from scratch. Instead of being stuck with the default layout, you can add, remove, and rearrange keys to your liking. This has completely changed the way people type. For example, set up a layout with your most used emojis right above the number row, making them instantly accessible.

5. RegiStar

To be honest, after switching from Stock Android to One UI, many people initially found the Settings app on their Galaxy phones a bit difficult to use. That's where RegiStar comes in.

Use RegiStar to completely reorganize your Settings menu. Now, group your most used settings right at the top so you don't have to hunt for them.

But that’s not all. RegiStar also unlocks back-tap gestures, similar to what you get on Pixel devices and iPhones. Set up double-tapping the back of your phone to take a screenshot, and triple-tapping to launch Gemini, for example. There’s even an option to remap the side button’s long-press functionality, for example to instantly mute and unmute all audio. Now, Samsung’s OneUI is better than stock Android.

6. NotiStar

How many times have you accidentally ignored an important notification and realized you needed it later? The NotiStar module acts as a personal archive for all your notifications and you can choose to store them for any period from 7 days to forever.

The best part is that you can also add a shortcut to your lock screen, so you don’t even have to open the app to see your notification history. You can also search your entire notification history to easily find a message, alert, or update you thought you lost, a feature you might also find useful.

7. Camera Assistant

The Camera Assistant module helps you take better photos and videos on your Galaxy device. It brings additional functionality to the camera app, and while you won't use every feature it offers, some of it will definitely help.

Features like Auto HDR ensure the camera captures more detail in both the bright and dark areas of the photo, while Auto Lens Switching automatically selects the best lens based on the lighting and subject you select.

Another feature that's pretty useful is video recording in Photo mode. Once enabled, all you have to do is press and hold the shutter button to start recording a video — just like on Snapchat.

8. Sound Assistant

One of the few features of Sound Assistant that has surprised many is the ability to adjust the volume of each app independently. This allows you to fine-tune everything exactly to your liking – music stays at your favorite high volume while games, social media, and other apps don’t suddenly go max.

Sound Assistant can be used to customize the volume control panel. You can adjust the layout, change the panel's position on the screen, and even add shortcuts for quick access to the equalizer, Bluetooth settings, and subtitles.

There's even an option to play audio from two apps at once, meaning you can listen to your favorite playlist while gaming.

8 useful Good Lock modules you should know

With so many useful modules, it's surprising that Good Lock doesn't come pre-installed on Samsung phones. These modules add so much functionality and convenience that many people find it hard to consider switching to another Android device - let alone an iPhone.

If you also own a Samsung Galaxy phone and haven't explored any of these modules, take some time to give them a try.
