All Chicken Variations and Where to Find Them in Minecraft

With the arrival of brand new pig and cow variants, it’s time for chickens to take Minecraft to the next level. Mojang has released two new chicken variants in Minecraft Snapshot 25W06A, adding even more variety to the wildlife. Here are all the chicken variants in Minecraft and where to find them!

List of Chicken Variants in Minecraft

You're probably excited to see all the cool new features of the new Minecraft snapshot, but take it easy. Make sure you have enough wheat, beets, or pumpkin seeds to lure the chickens to you.

These seeds can also be used to breed chickens in Minecraft. Furthermore, like pigs and cows, breeding two different chicken variants will result in the chick inheriting any random shape from the parent.

Warm Chicken

One of the new feathered species added to the game is the Warm Chicken. With their brown color, they definitely bring a little warmth to the biomes they spawn in.

Furthermore, you will soon discover that these chickens also like to lay their eggs in similar soil colors. When roaming in flocks, they may have some indifferent expressions, but you never know what kind of mischief they will cause in the game. Cold Chicken

Second on the list is the Cold Chicken, bringing a chill to the game's poultry population. With their blue-gray feathers, they easily blend into the Taiga environment.

Spend enough time with these chicks and they will soon tell you about the blue eggs they lay. However, don’t let their cold exterior fool you, as they are just as notorious as the warm-hearted chickens. Tempered Chicken

Finally, we have the classic old Minecraft poultry, whose original name has been updated to Temperate Chicken in Minecraft Snapshot 25W06A. They are easily recognizable by their white feathers, yellow beak, and red wattles.
