On the other side, AMD seems to be preparing to respond with the Radeon RX 9070 GRE – a mid-range monster with rumored performance that significantly outperforms its rival. The core specifications of the 9070 GRE have not been fully revealed yet, but according to leaked information from reputable industry sources, the specs and performance of the AMD model could completely beat its rival Nvidia.
According to a report from VideoCardz, AMD's Radeon RX 9070 GRE could feature the following base specs:
- 48 Compute Units (CU) equivalent to 3,072 stream processors, based on Navi 48 XT architecture.
- Core clock: 2.79 GHz (lower than 9070 XT - 2.97 GHz).
- Memory speed: 18 Gbps (lower than 20 Gbps of 9070/9070 XT).
- Thus, the core throughput of the 9070 GRE is estimated to be ~70.5% of the 9070 XT, while the memory bandwidth
