Green cat makeup: how to do it

The cat eyes is a type of eye makeup very popular overseas, perfect for creating eye cat's haunting and at the same time create a completely nonexistent eyelid.

This type of makeup can be created on any type of eyes and can have infinite shapes. In this case I decided to combine an eyeliner effect with a cut crease , a technique that creates a rather clear line between the mobile lid and the fixed lid.

 

HOW A CUT CREASE FOR CAT EYES IS MADE

Cut crease literally means "cut the crease" and allows you to change the shape of the eyes with rather graphic and trendy lines. On Asian eyes, for example, it allows you to completely recreate a non-existent mobile eyelid .

The simplest technique to create these crisp lines is to use a pencil to draw the line, or use a creamy pigmented eyeshadow base (black or white).

GREEN CAT MAKEUP: WHO IS GOOD FOR?

In this case I made the cat makeup on my brown eyes, but I find it also perfect for hazel eyes.

The emerald green of the eyeshadows harmonizes perfectly with the green component of the hazel eyes, being careful to create contrast with the tail and the black border.

Obviously, based on the brightness and intensity of the chosen eyeshadows, we can also combine this makeup with other eye colors . For example, on blue eyes we could try a beautiful petrol green!

REQUIRED

The cosmetics I used are:

- Shades Cosmetics pigments Riace, Sirens, Costa Smeralda, Verde Petrolio, Oro Nero and Creme Caramel;
- Nyx Cosmetics White Base Eyeshadow; Two Timer Khol and Liner and Double Stacked Fibers mascara;
- Lazy Lashes Drama false lashes.

If you don't have these makeups, you can replace them with products that have similar characteristics.

GREEN CAT MAKE UP PROCEDURE

Let's follow all the steps to recreate this real cat makeup.

STEP 1

Let's start by applying a brown eyeshadow (Shades Cosmetics Riace pigment) in the crease.

 

 

 

STEP 2

We apply a white base (Nyx Cosmetics White Base) on the mobile eyelid and create a tail in the outer corner.

STEP 3

We apply a light green on the innermost part of the mobile eyelid (Shades Cosmetics pigment Sirens).

STEP 4

We apply an emerald green to the center of the eyelid (Shades Cosmetics Costa Smeralda pigment).

 

 

 

 

STEP 5

We apply a darker green on the outermost part of the eyelid (Shades Cosmetics Green Petroleum pigment).

STEP 6

We apply a black eyeshadow (Shades Cosmetics Black Gold pigment) on the tail. Then we go to outline the edges of the dark green part.

STEP 7

We apply a gold eyeshadow (Shades Cosmetics pigment Creme Caramel) along the lower lashes and in the inner corner.

STEP 8

We apply a black pencil in the inner rhyme (Nyx Cosmetics Two Timer Khol & Liner). Then we apply the mascara on the lashes (Nyx Cosmetics mascara Double Stacked Fibers).

 

 

 

 

STEP 9

We apply the false lashes for a more intense effect (Lazy Lashes Drama lashes).

HOW TO MATCH LIPSTICK

To such a particular and outlined make-up I would combine a nude lipstick . The focus will inevitably be on the eyes, magnetic and intense, so it will be useless to overload the lips. For the choice of the suitable nude we can choose a lipstick on slightly orange shades that will perfectly match the gold eyeshadow.
