Bilgewater DTCL: Team composition, build

TFT season 9.5 will bring a number of new DTCL factions , of which Bilgewater is probably one of the main factions that will be released soon. The land of Bilgewater will bring players 7 new TFT champions , so you will have a lot of things to do if you decide to follow Bilgewater.

How Bilgewater Works

Bilgewater is a pretty simple class in every way. It deals damage to enemies with cannon fire based on how much damage your Bilgewater champion deals.

This will encourage you to focus on team building more. The more Bilgewater deals damage, the more damage the faction will deal.

However, we can see that the compositions still only appear in Bilgewater as a way to increase the damage output of the team's carry. It will take you time to decide who will be the main carry in the team.

Finally, if you get to 9 Bilgewater, the cannonballs will deal splash damage. This will deal more damage to the enemy team. The 9 Bilgewater milestone will require you to have at least 1 Bilgewater on Tech Upgrade or level 9 with 2 Bilgewater Seals.

7 Bilgewater

Early game, start simple with options like Illaoi, Graves, Twisted Fate, and Gangplank. Clip in Jinx for more bottom lane damage, or you can add any other tank or damage dealer, depending on what you need. Level up to 4 on round 2-1.

Mid game, activate 5 Bilgewater by adding Nautilus and Miss Fortune to the team. At this point, you should build magic items for Miss Fortune and tank items for Nautilus. Miss Fortune can hold items for Gangplank, reaching level 6 in round 3-2.

Finally, at level 7 Bilgewater, you can increase the damage of your cannons, find Gangplank and put him in your team if you see him. You can also find AD items for Nilah so she can be a secondary carry or replace her with Darius and let him be a secondary guillotine. Darius is quite suitable for this team because he has 3 traits.

In addition to using 7 Bilgewater, you can also switch to the 4 Conqueror comp below. The damage will be quite diverse when Gangplank deals magic damage and Xayah uses physical damage.

On the tank line, you will also have tank champions that support additional damage such as Sion, Nilah, Darius. Sejuani and Ashe support control, Sejuani is a champion that supports damage, causes control and good resistance.

5 Bilgewater

Also starts like 7 Bilgewater, gather 3 Bilgewater early game and you can replace Jinx with Taliyah for more damage in the back row. Level up to 4 on round 2-1.

Mid game, add 5 Bilgewater and if you want you can itemize Miss Fortune.
