Users no longer need to use the standalone Messenger app to text because Facebook has integrated the messaging platform back into the main interface of this social network.
This means that users can send and receive Messenger messages directly on Facebook, so this application is enough, and Messenger can be deleted. This move by Facebook makes sending messages more convenient, easier, and helps save more storage space.

To delete the Messenger app, from the home screen, users hold down the Messenger app > select delete app > turn on multitasking screen > Exit the Facebook app and access again.
In fact, Facebook brought back the Messenger messaging feature on the Facebook app a few months ago, but it was only gradually deployed to a few users to test performance and stability first. And now this feature has been officially deployed by Facebook to all users.
