Common types of waste today
Liquid waste
Liquid waste is commonly found in both households and industries. It typically includes dirty water, organic liquids, laundry detergent, waste cleaning products, and even rainwater.
You also need to consider that liquid waste can be classified as point source and non-point source waste. All manufactured liquid waste is classified as point source waste. On the other hand, natural liquid waste is classified as non-point source waste. It is best to contact waste disposal experts to dispose of liquid waste safely and effectively.
Organic waste
Organic waste is common household waste. Food waste, garden waste, manure, and rotten meat all fall into the category of organic waste. Over time, organic waste is converted into compost by microorganisms. However, this does not mean that you can just throw it away anywhere.
Organic waste in landfills produces methane gas, so never throw it away with your regular waste. Instead, consider getting a green waste bin from your local council or hiring a green leather bin or garden waste bag to dispose of your waste properly.

Recyclable waste is something we are all probably familiar with and includes all types of waste that can be converted into products that can be reused. Solid items such as paper, metals, furniture and organic waste can all be recycled.

Hazardous waste includes all types of waste that are flammable, toxic, corrosive, and reactive. These items are potentially extremely harmful to you and the environment and must be disposed of properly.
