Disney+ adds a feature to help clean up the home screen
It's been a long time coming, but Disney+ is finally joining other major streaming platforms in giving you more control over what appears on your home screen.
Remove a title from the Continue Watching row
Disney announced that you can now quickly and easily remove any title from your Continue Watching queue. That's useful if you accidentally start watching something you didn't mean to watch, or if you just don't want to continue watching something.
Removing titles from the Continue Watching bar depends on where you're watching Disney+. Disney explains more about the process when watching on TV:
In the "Continue Watching" row itself, you'll need to navigate to the title you want, press and hold the button on your remote to remove it, then select Remove.
However, if you're on the title's Details page, simply navigate to the Remove icon on the right and select Remove. Rest assured, though, your viewing progress won't be deleted, even if it's removed from the "Continue Watching" row.
From the Continue Watching row on your smartphone or tablet, navigate to the title and select the three dots. Then, select Remove . On the web, hover over the cell and click the Remove icon in the upper-right corner to remove the title from Continue Watching.
This feature is rolling out now on the web, Apple TV, and iOS devices. Other devices will see it in the coming weeks.
The only content you can't delete from your Continue Watching row is live events. They'll automatically disappear after the event ends.
You may also notice that you see titles in your Continue Watching row that you haven’t watched. This could be because other members of your household are watching content on your profile. If this is a recurring issue, you can try creating accounts for everyone who watches content from the streaming service.
Disney+ is one of the top streaming options available right now.
The Simpsons on Disney+
While the streaming landscape is full of different options, Disney+ remains one of the best out there. With everything Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and more to watch, there's something for almost everyone.
There are some great ways to get the most out of your Disney+ subscription. Some of these include watching new releases instantly and downloading new content to watch offline.
If you're a fan of The Simpsons, Disney+ is also a great place to go. In March 2025, the service launched 24/7 streaming of everyone's favorite family from Springfield.
However, while you may be tempted to share your password with Disney+, it's best not to. In 2024, Disney+ announced a new set of password sharing rules to tighten up the process and make it more difficult.
