The new Windows Snipping Tool adds a new Draw & Hold feature, which lets you draw and hold to mark up content in a screenshot. This feature helps you draw lines, arrows, and shapes more accurately without having to start from scratch. When you draw a line, just hold the mouse for a moment and the stroke will automatically be converted to a shape based on the stroke. Here's how to use Draw & Hold on the Snipping Tool.
How to use Draw & Hold on Snipping Tool
Step 1:
First, press the Windows + Shift + S key combination to take a screenshot . Then take a screenshot as usual and click on the screenshot .
Step 2:
In the screenshot editing interface, users click on the pen icon and then draw freely on the screenshot. Users also choose the color or size of the stroke to perform. We can draw straight lines, arrows, or desired shapes without having to draw accurately or draw beautifully.
Step 3:
Press and hold the mouse or pen for a moment so that the system automatically recognizes the shape of your drawing to convert it and then it will become the shape as below. We can change the size through the dots in the 4 corners. Finally, release the mouse to save the drawing.

Continue drawing another shape using the Draw & Hold tool on the Snipping Tool, such as drawing an arrow.
