Step 1 : Check and make sure that Camera is not enabled on any other app on the device.
Step 2 : Restart your computer
Step 3 : Uninstall the Zoom software on your device and download the latest version from  https://zoom.us/download
Step 4 : Visit the support website Camera for your device and update the Camera driver.

Windows 10 has a privacy feature that can block camera permissions for Zoom, so make sure to  check this out and find a way to allow Zoom to access your webcam.

3. Troubleshooting Tips for macOS

  1. Make sure all other programs that have permission to use the camera are currently closed or not using the camera. These programs may include pre-installed camera applications, such as Photo Booth and Facetime, other video conferencing software, or websites that use the camera.   
  2. Restart the computer.
  3. If the camera still doesn't work in Zoom after restarting your computer, check if the camera works in Mac apps like Photo Booth or Facetime.
    • If the camera still works in other apps, uninstall Zoom Client and reinstall the latest version from  Zoom's Download Center  .
    • If the camera doesn't work in any apps, contact  Apple support .

Note : If you are using Mac OS 10.14 Mojave and are still having trouble accessing the camera, check the  permissions granted by the operating system to confirm that Zoom has camera access.

  • Tap the camera icon at the top of the screen to switch between the front and rear cameras.
