How many people can use one Netflix account at the same time?
Since Netflix is easily accessible on all devices including phones, tablets, game consoles, and streaming devices, you might be wondering how many people can watch Netflix at the same time on the same account.
How many people can watch one Netflix account at the same time?
Netflix has three account plans to choose from, each with a few differences. One of those differences is how many devices can be used to watch Netflix at the same time.
Basic package: 180,000/1 month, can only be used on 1 device.
Standard package: 220,000/1 month, can be used on two devices.
Premium package: 260,000/1 month, can be viewed on 4 devices.
While you can sign in to your Netflix account on multiple devices, you can only stream up to your plan’s usage limit. If you see a message that says “Too many people are using your account right now,” it means that you’ve exceeded your limit.
To see who's using your account, go to the Netflix Viewing Activity page to manage users.
How many Netflix account profiles can I create?
Unlike the limit on simultaneous accounts, you can create multiple account profiles on your Netflix account. One person can use their account to create multiple viewing profiles.
Each Netflix account can have up to five profiles. This doesn't mean you can watch all of them at once. Account profiles are a great way to differentiate your usage, but you'll still have to abide by Netflix's device limits.
Sharing a Netflix account is very common for users, helping them to use the service more economically. Of course, this option will be more convenient when using a package that allows viewing multiple screens at the same time.
Of course, you should only share your password with people you trust. Set a strong password for your Netflix account so that no one can use it without your knowledge.
