Is the alarm volume on your iPhone too low or too loud, and it's annoying you? Don't worry, you can always adjust the alarm volume on your smartphone quickly and easily.
Change iPhone Alarm Volume via Settings
Here's how you can change your iPhone's alarm volume via the Settings app:
Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics .
You'll see a slider under the Ringtones and Alerts heading . To change the alarm volume, drag the slider to the left (quieter) or right (louder).
You'll hear how the volume changes as you drag the slider side to side. When you're happy with the volume, release your finger.
Change iPhone alarm volume with volume buttons
You can also change the alarm volume using your iPhone's physical volume buttons. While the volume buttons on your iPhone or iPad raise or lower the volume of your ringtones and alerts by default, you may have accidentally turned this option off without realizing it.
To change the alarm volume using your iPhone's volume buttons, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and turn on the switch next to Change with Buttons .
When you turn this option on, note that your iPhone or iPad will only adjust the media volume if you press the volume buttons while listening to music or watching a video. Sometimes pressing these buttons will adjust the ringer volume, which will also change the iPhone alarm volume.
So, to avoid accidentally changing the iPhone media volume instead of the ringer volume, the article recommends that you first close the running apps on your iPhone. While on the home screen, you can use the iPhone volume up and down buttons to conveniently adjust the ringer/alarm volume.
Since your iPhone's alarm volume depends on your ringer volume, the same setting also affects your call and text message volume. Apple doesn't let you change your iPhone's alarm volume independently of those volumes, so you'll need third-party iPhone alarm clock apps to get the job done.
Hope you always have a good experience with your iPhone!
