How to block spam messages on Viber

Block a specific person

Step 1: Open the conversation with the person you want to block, click on the name of your chat (as shown in the picture), select Information & Chat settings . Scroll down and click on Block this contact. This will block all contact of that person, including messages, calls.

Step 2: Immediately appear a blocked message, if you want to unblock just click Unblock. Or go to Information & Chat settings, scroll down to select Unblock this contact.

Step 1: When you want to block a lot of people at the same time, click the 3-dot icon in the bottom right corner of the main screen, select Settings> Privacy> Block list .

Step 2: The interface of Block list appears, click Add contact , then tick the box next to the name of the person you want to block, you can select multiple people at the same time. Once done, tap Done to finish. At this block list, if you want to unblock someone just click Unblock next to that person's name.

Step 1: Go to Viber, open the spam message to view it normally, then click the 3 vertical dots icon in the top right corner of the screen, select Chat information . Scroll down and click Block this contact so that you will no longer receive spam messages from this number.

Step 2: Immediately appear that the contact is now blocked, want to unblock just click the Unblock button . Or go to the Chat information section , scroll down and click Unblock this contact.

Step 1: If you want to block multiple contacts, block multiple numbers at the same time, you just need to go back to the main interface, click the 3 dash icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Then select Settings> Privacy> Block list.

Step 2: In the Block list window, all phone numbers blocked so far will be listed. If you want to block a new phone number, click the + icon in the top right corner of the screen, select the contact to block, then tap the tick icon to finish. When you want to unblock a phone number just click the Unblock button right next to that phone number.
