How to build a Lien Kich DTCL squad, Lien Kich season 14
How to build a Lien Kich DTCL squad, Lien Kich season 14
Lien Kich is an important DTCL clan in season 14, providing 10% attack speed for the entire team and adding additional attack speed to the generals of this clan, up to 10 times. The amount of attack speed increase each time depends on the number of Lien Kich generals.
Although the number of champions is small, because of the easy combination, sometimes you just need to gather a solid tank line and a high-priced Lien Kich champion like Zeri TFT season 14 or at least Draven. If you need support when playing Lien Kich, see below.
Buff of Lien Kich
Entire team gains 10% Attack Speed. Lien Kich champions gain bonus Attack Speed on every attack, stacking up to 10 times.
Activation milestone:
2 Combo: Gain 4% Attack Speed per stack.
4 Combo: Increases Attack Speed by 10% per stack.
6 Combo: Gain 22% Attack Speed per stack.
List of generals:
Draven
Kindred
Kog'Maw
Twisted Fate
Zeri
Build TFT Lien Kich squad season 14
Early game
Start with Kindred and Kog'Maw, add tanks like Vi, Rhaast, Leona, Skarner to get Vanguard. The goal is to survive, protect your cheap early game carries, and try to get Kindred and Kog'Maw stars. With 2 units in Slash, each unit gains 4% attack speed per stack, up to 40% maximum attack speed.
Mid game
Add Twisted Fate and maybe Draven if you see both, level up to 6 on round 3-2, and continue upgrading 1-2 cost units. You may not need 4 Lien Kich if Draven is too hard to find at this stage, you can still use 3 Lien Kich units, still at 4% attack speed per stack. As long as you make sure your tank line is strong enough
End of the game
The last thing is to find Zeri, if you have an extra Sigil of the Ring then add a 5 gold or 4 gold damage dealer in the late game. This stacks up to a lot of attack speed and doesn't require attack speed items. If you decide to roll for Draven earlier, you can leisurely find more Zeri at level 8.
You can decide to stay at level 8 and upgrade your current champions. Or level up to 9 to gain more tank slots or find more support in your team.
At level 9, you will increase the rate of 5 gold generals, if you see many 4 gold generals, you can also add them to the team at this time. At this time, the rate of 4-5 gold is high, so you just need a lot of money to add other generals or upgrade the stars for the main generals.
Standard equipment for TFT Season 14
The equipment of the Lien Kich is mostly support items that increase damage, of course because the buff is to stack attack speed. Later, when you reach a large milestone, you may not need Cuong Dao, some suggestions below will help you.
Kindred: Bloodthirster, Rageblade, Infinity Edge, Blue Bow, Giant Slayer, Deathblade.
Draven: Rageblade, Hextech Gunblade, Red Buff, Infinity Edge, Last Whisper.
Zeri: Blood Sword, Berserker's Blade, Berserker's Bow, Infinity Edge, Green Bow, Giant Slayer, Death Sword.
Advantages of Lien Kich
Simple and easy to understand, suitable for new and old players.
Increases power over time, especially effective in long matches.
Flexible, and easy to combine with many different formations thanks to the attack speed granted to the whole team.
Disadvantages of Lien Kich
Depends on the survival of the Lien Kich generals: If the Lien Kich generals are eliminated early, the damage efficiency will be reduced because of their low health.
Only Lien Kich champions benefit from the attack speed bonus, other champions only gain 10% of the initial bonus.
Less effective in short matches, when there is not enough time to stack.
Position and how to play the generals
Of course you will put your damage dealers in the back row, and your tanks in the front row.
Draven : Position yourself as a rear firepower, where you can attack from a safe distance. Use the Chain Attack buff to increase your attack speed, always making sure you don't get too close to enemies.
Kindred : Should also be placed in the defender position, taking advantage of the wide attack range and attack speed increased from the Chain Attack buff to deal continuous damage.
Kog'Maw : As the main damage dealer, Kog'Maw is still placed in the corner or in the back row of any position but protected by tank and support champions to avoid being eliminated immediately.
Twisted Fate and Zeri : As damage support champions, their positioning needs to be balanced so that they can both support the main force and protect themselves from enemy attacks. Zeri is constantly moving and does not stay in one place, so he can somewhat avoid enemy attacks.
Each champion in the squad needs to be arranged to make the most of the Lien Kich buff, while maintaining a balance between offense and defense.
