The holidays are a time for everyone to relax and unwind after a stressful day at work, so this is the perfect time to complete your long-awaited movie list. Before you list your movies and shows, use some of the following tips to manage them more easily.

Table of Contents
Schedule screen time
If it works for your kids, it will work for you. Once you do, you will see a noticeable difference in your show/movie watch list after spending 30 minutes to an hour or so. Try setting an app timer on your Android phone.
For shows, set it for your lunch break. For movies, set it for the weekend or sometime in the afternoon, preferably when you've finished your chores. Nothing gets in the way of a good movie like a mundane chore that you can't stop thinking about.
Keep pointless scrolling to a minimum
You know how easy it is to get caught up in searching for something to watch? You're trying to make a dent in your watchlist, not add to it, so resist the urge to scroll to see more results.
Of course, that’s easier said than done. When unavoidable, you should have a separate account for your mindless scrolling. At least then it looks like you’re growing your list of favorites.

Watch a show/movie that is ending or going off air
A good place to start curating your entertainment list is with anything that's leaving a streaming platform because once it's gone, it's gone from your list. You'll have no choice but to buy it.
Many people like to start with content they're not sure they'll like or haven't heard much about. That way, if you miss a movie or show that you feel like watching, you won't have to worry about whether or not to buy it.
Start where you're comfortable
Add to your watchlist other than your favorite genres: dramas, sci-fi, horror, etc. They definitely won't be a waste of your time.
However, you should break it down a bit. If you've seen a few movies in your favorite genre, try stepping out of your comfort zone.
Let others choose for you
In addition to shuffling, you can always ask someone else to choose for you, especially if they know you well. You can also ask for suggestions. Show them your entertainment list to get the best recommendations.
At that point, they can also enjoy the show with you. What better way to watch a movie than with someone else? Your spouse, grandma, cousin, significant other… You can also host a watch party and stream it live on Discord using Go Live.
