The Instagram profile grid interface is not only a thumbnail gallery for your posts, but also a place for you to promote your products or show off your own style. Instagram recently changed the profile grid layout to a 4:5 vertical preview. And users can adjust the preview image to their liking to focus on the content they want. Here is a guide to adjusting the preview image in the Instagram interface.
How to edit preview photo in Instagram profile
Step 1:
You access your personal Instagram interface, then click on the post that needs to be edited, preview the photo in the profile. Click on the 3-dot icon and select Adjust preview in the displayed list .
Step 2:
Displays the interface for you to edit the preview photo in your Instagram profile. You click Fit and see the thumbnail adjusted immediately after . Then the user has more options for Background when the photo is cropped.
There will be only 2 colors black and white for the thumbnail background for you to change.
Step 3:
To crop a thumbnail, press and hold on the photo and then zoom in to crop the area as you want. You crop the photo smaller and then move the position and area you want to capture.
Step 4:
Once you agree, click the Done button in the top right corner to save. The post thumbnail will change in your Instagram profile interface.
