One of the quickest and easiest ways to hide your phone number when calling someone is to use the *67 trick while dialing. This will make your phone number registered as “Private” to the person you are calling. You will have to dial *67 every time you want to make a call with a hidden number. If you only want to hide your phone number occasionally, this is a good way to do it.
How to use the trick to hide phone number
Almost all Android devices with almost every carrier have the option to hide your phone number by default, you don't have to dial *67 every time you make a call anymore. Here's how to block your phone number using the built-in Hide Number feature on your Android device.
1. Select the phone icon in the application menu or at the bottom of the device's home screen.
2. Select the 3-dot menu icon in the upper right corner of the window.
3. Select Settings .
4. Select Calls .
5. Select Additional settings .
6. When the process is finished, select Caller ID .
7. Select Hide Number from the pop-up menu.
This phone number blocking trick will make your phone number never show up when you call someone, instead of showing up as Blocked , Private or No Caller ID . If you want your phone number to show up again for a short time, you can dial *82 . Also, if you want to turn off the phone number blocking feature, repeat the steps above and at the end, select Network Default or Show Number .
