On Windows 10, Wireless Display is a feature that adds the Connect app to allow other devices to connect wirelessly and use your desktop, laptop, or tablet as a wireless display using Miracast Mirroring technology.
Previously, the Connect app was pre-installed by default, but starting with Windows 10 version 2004, it is an optional feature that you must install manually to connect to Miracast-compatible devices .

To install the Wireless Display option and add the Connect app, follow these steps:
1. Open Settings .
2. Click Apps.

4. Click on Optional features option .
5. Click on the Add a feature option .
6. Search for Wireless Display and select the optional feature.
7. Click the Install button.
Once you complete the steps, the feature will be installed and the Connect app will be restored on Windows 10.
Uninstall Connect App on Windows 10
To uninstall the Connect app on Windows 10, follow these steps:
1. Open Settings.
2. Click Apps.
3. Click Apps & features .
4. Click on Optional features option .
5. Select the Wireless Display option.
6. Click the Uninstall button.
Once you complete the steps, the Miracast Connect feature will be removed from Windows 10.

1. Click Start and type cmd.
2. Click Open as Administrator to open Command Prompt with admin rights .
3. In the Command Prompt window , type the following command and press Enter :
DISM /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:App.WirelessDisplay.Connect~~~~0.0.1.0
4. Wait until you see the success message. Once installed, click Start and open the Connect app from the Recently Added section .
Uninstall Connect App Using Command Prompt
To uninstall the Connect app using Command Prompt, do the following:
1. Open Command Prompt with admin rights.
2. Type the following command into Command Prompt and press Enter :
DISM /Online /Remove-Capability /CapabilityName:App.WirelessDisplay.Connect~~~~0.0.1.0
Using the Connect app
To project your phone to your Windows 10 PC screen, open the Connect app on your PC. Next, open the Wireless Display or Smart View option on your phone. Select your PC from the list of displayed devices to start projecting.
