Instead of allowing the application to access all contacts, users can now limit the contacts that the application can access on iOS 18, choosing which phone numbers the application can access. This way, the phone numbers of relatives and friends will not be revealed or accessed by strange applications, similar to limiting access to albums on iPhone . Instructions to limit application contacts access iOS 18
Step 1:
On the iPhone interface, go to Settings and select Privacy & Security . Switch to the new interface and click on Contacts to adjust.
Step 2:
Next you will see a list of applications accessing contacts on iPhone, we click on the application we want to limit contact access .
Step 3:
In the settings as shown, click on Limited Access to adjust. In the interface as shown, click on Edit in the top right corner of the interface.
Step 4:
Now display contacts on iPhone for you to choose which phone number the application can access. We click on that contact number and then click Done to save.
Step 5:
This will allow the app to access only the contacts you have selected. Tap Done to save the contact limit the app has on your iPhone. If you want to change the limit again , tap Edit Selected Contacts .
Step 6:
We click Edit then adjust the contact limit as we like and then click Done to save the new limit.
