How to reduce Facebook friend interactions without unfriending
One of the ways to prevent others from knowing your activities on Facebook is to reduce your Facebook friend interactions, a useful feature for users. When you put someone on the restricted list, that person cannot access your posts and your Facebook will not appear on their News Feed interface. So you do not need to unfriend on Facebook or even block friends on Facebook . Below are instructions to reduce your Facebook friend interactions.
Facebook's de-engagement feature will reduce your and the other person's presence in the News Feed. Neither party will see the content posted.
Facebook not only limits how often their posts appear in your News Feed, but also removes their past posts from the News Feed.
People who are put on reduced engagement mode on Facebook will not receive any notifications and will still be friends with each other to view profiles or posts by directly accessing the other person's timeline.
