Facebook has a Tributes feature for the deceased, allowing their friends to leave a separate message of remembrance on their Timeline. When your relatives and friends send a confirmation to Facebook for the deceased, the word Tributes will appear next to your Facebook name.
Facebook's Memorial feature has a separate section for users to set up their account after you pass away, including choosing who inherits your account or permanently deleting your Facebook account . Your Facebook account's heir will have certain rights to your account but will not be able to post or view your messages.
