To automatically resize cells in Google Sheets, place the mouse pointer at the right edge of the column header you want to resize, until the mouse pointer changes to a double-headed arrow.
Double click and then Google Sheets automatically adjusts the width of the columns in the table.
To adjust the width of multiple columns at once , press the Ctrl key and select the columns to adjust.
Next, also place the cursor on the right edge of the selected column title, when the 2-headed arrow appears, double-click .
Step 1:
You select 1 column or more columns in Google Sheets, then right-click on any column . Now the options appear, you click on Resize selected column .
Step 2:
Display the interface, you check Match data and then click OK below to perform. Immediately after that, the width of each column automatically changes according to the length of the data.
This will align the content displayed in 1 column without overflowing into cells in other columns in the table.
We will select 1 row or more rows in the Google Sheets table . Next, right-click on any selected row and click Change row size displayed in the list.
Now the table is also displayed as shown, click Fit data to perform.
The rows then automatically adjust according to the data in each row.
