Collections on Instagram save all your favorite photos, videos, or Reels so you can watch them whenever you want. Collections on Instagram can be created the moment you save an image or add a post to an existing Instagram collection. This article will guide you through creating a collection on Instagram.
How to Create Collections on Instagram
Create Instagram collection when saving post
Step 1:
On any Instagram image or post, we click on the save icon as shown below. The options below show you click on New Collection .
Step 2:
Now the interface appears for you to enter a name for this collection. Below is the option to create a collaborative collection to invite others to join and this Instagram collection. If you invite others, click on that person below. Finally, click Save to save this Instagram collection.
We continue to save other posts to the Instagram collection you created.
Create Instagram Collections from Saved Photos
Step 1:
First, click on the profile icon below and then click on the 3-dash icon . Switch to the new interface and click on Saved .
Step 2:
Now a new interface appears, click on the plus icon in the upper right corner. The interface appears for you to enter a name for the collection on Instagram. Enter the collection name and click Next .
Step 3:
Display saved images or saved posts and videos on Instagram. Click on the post you want to add to the collection you are creating and then click Done .
So you have created a collection on Instagram as shown below, with images, videos or video Reels.
Guide to managing collections on Instagram
Step 1:
First, go to Saved on Instagram and then click on the collection on Instagram. In the collection interface, click on the 3 dots icon in the right corner of the screen.
Step 2:
Displayed below the screen are options for this collection, you click Edit this collection . Switch to the collection editing interface, with options to rename, change cover photo,...
Step 3:
If you press Select… you can press multiple photos saved in the gallery and then do more.
To delete an Instagram collection , tap Delete Collection and then select Delete to proceed.
