How to speed up, use NoxPlayer without lag?
NoxPlayer is the name that is chosen a lot right after BlueStack, but if you use NoxPlayer and find it lags a lot, here is a guide to help you improve your experience when using this emulator software.
Before you try anything else, check your BIOS details along with whether Virtual Technology (or VT for short) on your Windows computer is enabled or not.
To get started, download LeoMoonCPU-V . You'll need it to check if your computer supports VT. In this case, the app will tell you whether VT is enabled or not.
Most standard computers come with Virtual Technology (VT) built-in, but in some cases, this feature is disabled. In such cases, you are required to enable it, otherwise the lag issues that NoxPlayer is facing will continue to occur.
To enable Virtual Technology (VT), the user must boot into BIOS .
First, you must power off your computer.
Press the power button when it is off.
Through the boot menu, press F2 or any other key that supports booting into BIOS.
Navigate to the Configuration section , then look for one of the following options:
Virtualization
Intel Virtual Technology
VT-x
Turn on the virtual instrument, then go ahead and press F10 to save all changes.
Exit BIOS and restart your computer. Try NoxPlayer again to see if everything works normally.
2. Clear NoxPlayer cache
NoxPlayer General Settings
There is an option to clear cache in NoxPlayer. This action may help fix the lag issue you are currently experiencing. Here is how to do it:
Open the NoxPlayer application on your Windows computer now.
From there, navigate to Settings and click on it.
You will see Performance section. Select it.
Then click on the button that says Clear Google Service Cache .
Alternatively, you can select the Reset Desktop option.
NoxPlayer has a feature that allows users to allocate CPU and RAM resources to the emulator. Here's how to do it:
Open the NoxPlayer app, then click the Settings icon.
From there, select Performance in the left panel.
Look for Performance Settings and underneath, choose how you want to reassign CPU power, along with the amount of memory.
5. Enable high performance graphics card driver
Depending on the computer's specifications, it may contain two GPUs. One GPU is used when the user requires high performance and one GPU is for basic computing use.
NoxPlayer is considered lightweight when compared to other Android emulators. A single instance will require 1.5GB of RAM, while 4GB is recommended if you plan to run multiple instances.
