How to Turn Off Bitlocker on Windows 11
Windows 11 brings a lot of changes, including two new forms of BitLocker encryption: Drive Encryption and Device Encryption. These options provide enhanced security for your devices and files, but what happens if you need to turn them off? Here's how to turn off BitLocker encryption on Windows 11. Keep in mind that turning off BitLocker on Windows 11 can make your devices and data less secure, so be careful when making this decision.
Step 3: To turn off BitLocker using CMD, type the command:
manage-bde -off Drive-Name:
Turn off BitLocker
Note : Replace Drive-Name with the drive letter of the BitLocker Encrypted Drive and Recovery-Code with the actual recovery key allocated while encrypting the drive.
Step 2: To disable BitLocker using PowerShell, type the command:
Disable-BitLocker -MountPoint Drive_Name:

Note: Replace Drive_Name with the letter of the BitLocker encrypted drive.
8. Turn off BitLocker via Group Policy Editor
Step 1: In the Start menu, type Group Policy Editor and press Enter.
Step 2: Navigate to the following path:
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > BitLocker Drive Encryption > Removable Data Drives
... then click the Control use of BitLocker on removable drives option .

Step 3: Select the Disabled option and click the OK button.

This policy setting controls the use of BitLocker on removable data drives. This policy setting applies when you turn on BitLocker.
If you do not configure this policy setting, users can use BitLocker on removable drives. If you disable this policy setting, users cannot use BitLocker on removable drives.
