Step 2:

Then there will be 2 options related to Hover Tab: Tab Hover Cards and Tab Hover Card Images.
To disable the content display on the tab, click the small triangle button of Tab Hover Cards -> Disable.
Step 3:
Shut down and restart the Chrome browser to acknowledge the changes you just made in step 2.
Open a web browser to check your changes, the content on Chrome's tab will show the same as before.
