How to turn on iCloud advanced data protection
Apple's Advanced Data Protection for iCloud uses end-to-end encryption to provide the highest level of cloud data security Apple offers. Encrypted security helps you better protect your iCloud data, including iCloud Backup, Photos, Notes, and more. This means no one, including Apple, can access your data except you. Here's how to turn on end-to-end encryption for iCloud backups.
Instructions for enabling account recovery on iPhone
Before turning on Advanced Data Protection, you'll need to set up Account Recovery. This ensures you can recover your data if you forget your password.
Step 1:
First, users access Settings , then click on your Apple account . Next, click iCloud in the interface. Switch to the interface as shown, users continue to click on Advanced Data Protection .
Step 2:
Continue to scroll down and click on Restore account . Then the screen interface will appear as below, you continue to click on Set up account recovery .
Step 3:
User clicks on Add Contact to restore . You will need to fill in the name of the account you want to use as a recovery contact .
How to enable advanced data protection on iPhone
After you set up Account Recovery, you can turn on Advanced Data Protection for iCloud backups.
