How to view featured article gist on Safari
The new Safari iOS 18 adds a web page highlight feature to make browsing much more efficient. Unlike Safari's reading mode, the highlight feature doesn't reformat the entire web page, but instead displays key information selectively, allowing you to quickly access the details you need without changing the original layout. Here's how to highlight a document in Safari.
Instructions for viewing article highlights on Safari
Step 1:
On the phone interface, you access Settings then find the Applications section. Next, in the new interface, the user finds the Safari application to adjust.
Step 2:
Go to the settings for the browser, scroll down and enable Highlights mode to use.
Step 3:
You visit a website in Safari that supports highlights. Safari will automatically scan the content of that page. Safari will let you know that highlights are available by displaying a small purple sparkle icon on the page menu icon in the address bar. Just tap this icon to see the highlights on the website.
