Instagram has introduced a feature called Memories similar to Facebook's On This Day feature , allowing you to review and reminisce about your old posts. Memories on Instagram will be displayed right on the Story interface for you to follow, or we can see it in the Archive Activity section if we want to review it. Here are instructions for viewing Story memories on Instagram.
How to View Story Memories on Instagram
Step 1:
When you go to Instagram, at the top you will see Memories to view Instagram Story memories.
Step 2:
Now shows the Story memories you posted on this day last year. You will be the only one who sees the option to post this memory to your Story, tap Add to your story.
Step 3:
Display the Story editing interface as usual. We adjust the Story again, and change the date sticker that posted this Story. Click on the date sticker to change to another display style if you want.
Finally, you post the memory to Story as usual.
How to View Instagram Story Memories in Archive
Step 1:
Access your personal Instagram account, then click on the 3 dashes icon . Display the setting options, click on Archive to view the content.
Step 2:
Displays the interface with the archived content. In the Stories section you will see Instagram Story memories for us to post if we want.
