The SharePlay feature when performing FaceTime helps users share many contents with others, such as sharing the screen when making a FaceTime call or watching YouTube with others. How to watch YouTube with friends using SharePlay
Step 1:
We FaceTime with everyone as usual. Then click on the Share icon as shown below. The SharePlay feature applies to group FaceTime.
Next, click on the YouTube application installed on your phone at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2:
Displays the YouTube application interface. Here, users search for the YouTube video they want to watch together. At the same time, the FaceTime window will be minimized to the edge of the screen.
Step 3:
The first time you watch a YouTube video with friends via SharePlay, you will be asked if you want to share the YouTube video via SharePlay. Click SharePlay to do so.
Step 4:
Everyone will get a notification and tap Open to open the YouTube app. Then tap Join SharePlay to join FaceTime and watch YouTube videos together.
Step 5:
To stop watching YouTube videos , you need to expand the FaceTime call interface, then tap the Share icon . Now tap End SharePlay to stop Share Play. Finally, you choose to stop watching YouTube videos for yourself or for everyone.
