How to create a mind map in Word
Step 1:
First we will switch Word to Landscape mode to make the slide wider.

Step 2:
Click on Layout then click on Margins . Next, select Narrow below to reduce the margins in Word.

Step 3:
Enter a title for your mind map. Click Insert and select Shapes to choose the shape you want to use in your mind map.

Click on the newly added shape then select Format and adjust Shape Fill and Shape Outline so you can then type text into the shape to make the content easier to read.

Continue to right-click on the shape and select Add Text to insert content, then format the text.

Step 4:
You continue to draw other shapes for the Topics and Subtopics in your mind map, depending on each person's purpose of creating the mind map.

Step 5:
To connect content together , you also click on Inserts then select Shapes and choose a straight line, or choose an arrow or other connection style you want to use.
