Instructions for downloading offline Apple Maps
The Apple Maps app lets you download maps for specific areas to your iPhone and use them without a WiFi connection. This feature is similar to downloading offline maps on Google Maps . We can still view maps, get turn-by-turn directions, and look up locations like restaurants, gas stations, and landmarks. Here's how to download offline Apple Maps.
How to download offline Apple Maps
Step 1:
First, open the Apple Maps app on your phone and then enter the location name in the search bar.
Step 2:
In the location information interface, click on the 3-dot icon and then select Download map in the list displayed as shown.
Step 3:
Now we will see the option to circle the Apple Maps map that we want to download. We can move this frame to another location to download offline maps on Apple Maps. Immediately after that, the process of downloading offline maps on Apple Maps is done.
We continue to download other map areas on Apple Maps to use when there is no WiFi connection on the iPhone.
We can also drop a pin on a location in Apple Maps to download it.
How to use Apple Maps offline
Step 1:
When the phone does not have a WiFi connection, you will need to open the application and enter the location in the previously saved map area . Now we can see the directions from our location to the saved location.
Step 2:
You tap on the car or pedestrian icon to see the direction of travel.
How to manage Apple Maps offline
Step 1:
We click on the avatar in the Apple Maps interface and then select Offline Maps to access.
Step 2:
In this list interface, click on the map you want to edit . Here users can rename the map .
Or you can delete offline maps on Apple Maps that you no longer need to use.
