How to insert a degree symbol in Word 2019 and later
Method 1: Copy the degree C character to Word
You just need to search for the degree C symbol on Google and then paste it into Word.

Then you resize the degree C symbol and enter the next content to complete.

Method 2: Write the degree character in Word using superscript
First, you write the number, then press Ctrl + Shift + “+” to switch to superscript and press the letter o on the keyboard. Press Ctrl + Shift + “+” again to return to normal input. Then press the letter C on the keyboard to complete inserting the degree symbol in Word.

Or at the position where you need to insert the degree symbol in Word, click on the superscript symbol as shown below. Then you also write the letter o to create the degree character, click the superscript symbol again in Word to return to normal input mode.

Method 1: Copy the degree C character to Word

Method 3: Insert degrees Celsius used in Word
