Messenger channels are community channels that allow channel owners to easily notify members and no one can message them. And many people are bothered by receiving too many invitations to join Messenger channels when they do not need them. Below are instructions for blocking invitations to join Messenger channels.
How to block invitations to join Messenger channels
Step 1:
At the interface in the Messenger application, users click on the 3-dash icon below. Switch to the new interface, scroll down to the Notifications and sounds section to adjust.
Step 2:
Display the interface to customize notifications on the Messenger application and notification sounds. In the Community section, we will see the default enabled. Now you should turn off invitations and turn off Messenger community channel suggestions to avoid being bothered.
Step 3:
Continue scrolling down to the Channels section, turn off invitations to not receive invitations to join Messenger channels.
Step 4:
In addition, if you do not want to be bothered by notifications from Messenger , you can activate Do Not Disturb mode for a certain period of time.
