IPhone turns into heater when using Apple Intelligence

After a long wait, iOS 18.2 has finally been released to the public and unlocked many of Apple’s much-anticipated Intelligence features such as Image Playground, Genmoji, and an upgraded Mail app. Interestingly, according to reports from some iPhone owners, this iOS update also brought them a solution to keep their hands warm during these cold winter days.

This comment is obviously sarcastic, but the fact is that there are a series of iPhone users around the world reporting a worrying increase in temperature from their iPhones after upgrading to iOS 18.2, and especially after a short time using the new Image Playground app.

It feels like these applications are using too much performance from the CPU and GPU during the image creation process, causing the iPhone to heat up quickly.
