Steel Boots is a core level 1 equipment that must be purchased to be able to equip level 2 boots.

To be able to choose the right shoe for your champion, Lien Quan has divided shoes into 3 main groups: Defense, Attack and Multi-purpose.
Defense Group
The defensive group includes 2 types: Guardian Boots and Tenacity Boots. Normally, these two types of boots are used by Tank and Fighter champions to increase their toughness. However, in the current meta, Tenacity Boots seem to be more popular. The reason is that the current lineup has a lot of champions that deal magic damage.
Attack Group
The attack group includes 2: Sorcerer's Shoes and Nomad's Shoes. These are two very familiar equipment for Mages and Marksmen because they support many necessary attack stats.
Multi-Purpose Group
The last group on this list is Sorcerer’s Shoes and Hermes’ Shoes. Due to their versatility, these are two pairs of shoes that can be upgraded by any position or role. The only difficulty for players when upgrading these two types of shoes in the early game is the high upgrade cost due to the lack of component equipment!
As for Sorcerer's Shoes, this is a perfect solution in many situations. For example, with Grakk, this champion's ability to create breakthroughs is the ability to pull the opponent back from a long range. Besides, although you lose the additional running speed of 45 in combat, in return, you will get 35% effect immunity. Obviously, this is a shoe that anyone can choose and still be effective.
