Thanks to their impressive Champions Points, T1 finished second among the LCK representatives at the global tournament, securing the second seed for the Korean League of Legends team behind Gen.G.
For Faker personally, this is the 8th time he has participated in the pinnacle event of League of Legends, and more specifically, this is the first time he has competed in the World Finals on home soil. KT Rolster

Despite failing to reach the 2023 LPL Summer Finals, Bilibili Gaming will still be the LPL's second seed at the 2023 League of Legends World Finals with 150 Championship Points, 20 points more than the 2023 LPL Summer runner-up, LNG Esports.
However, to compete with other teams at CKTG 2023, BLG will need strong reforms in terms of gameplay after poor results this season, especially after losses against JD Gaming.

Cloud9 have secured a Top 3 spot in the 2023 LCS Summer Split after a 3-0 win over Evil Geniuses in the second round of the playoffs. This means they will attend the 2023 League of Legends World Championship as the first representative from the North American region.
In the upper bracket finals, Cloud9 would face the winner of the Golden Guardians vs. NRG match. Cloud9 won 3-0 against NRG.
NRG
NRG caused a surprise in the Championship round of the 2023 LCS Summer Split when they defeated both Team Liquid and Golden Guardians, thereby winning the right to attend the Upper Bracket Finals and becoming the 2nd representative of the LCS to participate in the 2023 World Championship.
Team Liquid
Team Liquid won 3-2 against Golden Guardians in the 2023 LCS Summer Split lower bracket semifinals, thereby becoming the 3rd representative of North American League of Legends to participate in CKTG 2023.
Pyosik, Team Liquid's jungler, made LCS history by becoming the first jungler to get a Pentakill and the first member of last year's Worlds-winning DRX roster to compete in the tournament this year.
MAD Lions
MAD Lions took a 3-0 victory over Excel Esports in the first round of the LEC 2023 Season Finals upper bracket, thus securing the first ticket from the LEC region to Worlds 2023.
