Meaning of energy label rating energy saving on home appliances
In the current market, most household appliances are labeled with energy by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and certified. Energy labels help buyers know the information, indexes and power saving capabilities of the appliances, thereby being able to choose quality products, high energy efficiency, low power consumption.
Energy labels are divided into two types: confirmatory energy labels and comparative energy labels.
Energy label confirmation
This is a label affixed to devices and vehicles circulating on the market that have an energy efficiency level that meets or exceeds the high energy efficiency level (HEPS) prescribed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade from time to time.

Comparative energy label
This is a label affixed to vehicles and equipment circulating on the market with different levels of energy efficiency to help consumers choose vehicles and equipment with energy-saving consumption levels.
The comparative energy label has five levels of energy efficiency (from one star to five stars). The five-star label is the best performing label.
The comparative energy label corresponds to 5 energy efficiency levels as prescribed (shown by the number of stars on the label).Regulations on the colour and size of comparative energy labels.
The energy comparison label includes the following information:
Manufacturer: Name of the organization/business that manufactures the product.

Certification code: Code issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (specifically specified in the Energy Saving Product Certificate) for management purposes.
Energy efficiency level: Rated from 1 to 5 stars, assessed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade through measurement and test results of the product's power consumption.
Power: Energy consumption index is calculated in kWh/year.
