Microsoft is working on a new video creation feature for Microsoft Copilot that also uses AI to turn your descriptions into videos, and Copilot will automatically add footage, music, voiceovers, and more in Clipchamp.
Copilot will tap into Clipchamp’s collection of pre-made video templates, royalty-free footage, and text-to-speech generator to create a video of your choice. And once you receive the video, you can continue editing it in Clipchamp with full video editing tools as usual. Or, if the video is to your liking, you can export it without any changes. This feature is great for creating informational videos, video messages, tutorials, demos, and presentations.

Most of the Clipchamp users are still quite confused or do not know how to edit videos or take available footage. Therefore, Clipchamp brings automatic features for users.
The video creation feature is expected to start rolling out to Microsoft 365 products in September first. It’s unclear whether the feature will require a paid Clipchamp account (which is included with Microsoft 365). Microsoft 365 hasn’t mentioned a beta testing phase. The new feature could bypass Insider channels and roll out to general accounts.
