NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Officially Launched: Blackwell GB206 GPU, 20% More Performance Than RTX 4060 Ti And Twice As Fast When Using DLSS 4
NVIDIA has just introduced the new generation gaming GPU in the RTX 50 series - GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, with two versions of 16GB and 8GB memory.
NVIDIA's RTX 50 series has previously only been available in models priced from $500 and up, but the RTX 5060 series promises to bring Neural Rendering and DLSS 4 to the mainstream. The cards are designed to deliver 100+ FPS at target resolutions in popular games thanks to DLSS 4 MFG (Multi-Frame-Gen), which delivers 2x more frame rates than the previous generation.
The RTX 5060 series will be a major upgrade for millions of gamers using older x60/x50 cards based on the Pascal (10 series), Turing (20 series), and Ampere (30 series) architectures. With DLSS 4, the RTX 5060/Ti can achieve 50 times the graphics performance of the GTX 1060/1660.
Additionally, thanks to the Transformer model enhancements in DLSS 4, users will experience superior image quality compared to native rendering, along with higher performance and lower latency. The RTX 5060 Ti delivers double the frame rate with the same or lower latency as the RTX 4060 Ti (using DLSS 3.x), as tested on multiple AAA games such as Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk 2077, and Black Myth: Wukong.
According to NVIDIA, the average raster performance improvement over the RTX 4060 Ti is ~20%.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Specifications
GPU : Blackwell GB206 with 21.9 billion transistors, chip area 181 mm².
448 GB/s bandwidth (55.5% increase over RTX 4060 Ti).
Supports PCIe Gen5 x8, outputs 4K@480Hz or 8K@165Hz.
Compared to RTX 4060 Ti:
+5.8% CUDA cores.
~20% higher raster performance.
Memory capacity remains the same (16GB/8GB).
GDDR7 is faster (28 Gbps vs 18 Gbps).
Bandwidth increased by 55%.
12.5% higher power.
8GB price is down $20, 16GB is down $70 compared to RTX 4060 Ti.
Price and availability
The RTX 5060 Ti does not have a Founders Edition and is only sold through AIC (Add-In Card) partners.
8GB version : From $379 ($20 off RTX 4060 Ti 8GB).
16GB version : From $429 ($70 off RTX 4060 Ti 16GB).
The card is expected to be available on the market from the end of October 2025, focusing on the low-cost 1440p gaming segment and upgrading systems for gamers using older GPUs.
