Spotify Adds New Stickers to Cover Photo Tool for Valentine's Day
As first announced in a post on For the Record, Spotify has added a bunch of new stickers to its cover art tool. And, since it's Valentine's Day, all of the new stickers are about love and romance.
There are 12 new stickers that can be used in your custom cover photos, including a flaming heart, a love snail, red lips, a neon heart, and a dog balloon. All of these can be added to your custom cover photos on any new playlist you create or an existing playlist you've created before. This includes Spotify playlists created with AI.
For those unfamiliar with the cover art tool, this is a Spotify feature that is currently in beta. It lets you create custom cover art for playlists, meaning you no longer have to use the default cover art that features the four songs on it.
Spotify's cover art tool is currently available in 65 markets worldwide, so chances are you'll have access.
To find out, just open the playlist you created earlier, tap the three-dot menu, and select Create cover art . When you tap Create cover art again on the next screen, you'll have the option to change the background, add images, text, and stickers (including new Valentine's-themed stickers).
