The idea is simple: By sending a specific keyword via text message, you can trigger a series of automated actions—like turning on cellular data, Wi-Fi, location services, and battery saving mode—remotely on your Samsung phone.

Establish a routine

1. Open the Settings app and tap Modes and Routines .
2. Switch to the Routines tab and tap the plus (+) icon at the top to create a new routine.
3. In the “If” section, tap the plus (+) option to add a trigger.
4. Scroll down to the Event section and select Message received .
5. Set Sender to Anyone and select Message with specific keyword .
6. Select the When all keywords are found option and enter a keyword like "Phone Tracking" or similar.
7. Tap the plus button to add a keyword and tap Done .
8. Next, tap the plus icon under “Then” to specify what your phone will do.
9. Go to All actions > Close an app , select All and tap Done .
10. Tap Add action > All actions > Sound mode and volume . Then, select Sound and set the Ringtone , Notifications , and System volume levels to 100 . Then, tap Done .
11. Similarly, set actions to turn on Wi-Fi , Mobile data , Location , Auto-sync data and Power saving .
12. Once you have set all the actions, click Save .
13. Enter a name for the routine and tap Done .

Once this routine is set up, you simply send a text message containing the specified keyword and your phone will automatically perform the specified actions. You can then track the phone's location, play a sound, back up data, or even remotely reset the device. Of course, this routine won't work if the phone is actually powered off.
