Top In-Game Halloween Events to Play Today: November 1, 2026
Halloween gaming continues beyond October 31. For November 1, 2026, Warframe, Overwatch, Guild Wars 2 and Pokémon GO offer four different ways to join the seasonal action. Pokémon GO changes event phases during the day, so your location matters.
Hypothetical example: Sam, a fictional player in New York, has 90 minutes and several games already installed. Sam wants one enjoyable seasonal activity and a clear reward goal. We will use that situation to compare the options below. “Today” in this article means November 1, 2026, the date these official announcements were checked.

Which Halloween event should you choose?
Choose by the activity you want and the access your account already has. These are editorial picks for different play styles. Installation, updates, queues and account progression can affect how much you can accomplish.

For date-only announcements, check the event's current in-game countdown before leaving a goal until the final day. A calendar date alone does not establish a midnight deadline.
Warframe: prioritize Naberus rewards and Hallowed Nightmares
Warframe's official Halloween 2026 announcement gives both events the same November 2 endpoint. Nights of Naberus lets you exchange Mother Tokens with Daughter for seasonal items. Tokens come from Cambion Drift Bounties or resource trading with Grandmother.
For a more direct activity, the returning Hallowed Nightmares Tactical Alert features Jack O'Naut. Announced rewards include the Jack O'Naut Keychain Sugatra, a Recall Glyph, a Manic Noggle and 50,000 Credits.
Sam's choice: if the account already has access and a token balance, check the desired item's price first. If Sam wants a themed challenge, inspect the Tactical Alert's requirements before committing the session. A reward list does not establish how long a particular account will need to earn it.
Overwatch: pick Graveyard Games for chaotic matches
Blizzard's official Season 5 overview schedules Mystery Madness: Graveyard Games for October 6–November 2. You enter as a random Hero and gain random powers when you return after a death, building unusual combinations as the match develops.
The announcement also describes challenges and weekly Event Passes. Check the currently available objectives and reward track before queueing; an event running for several weeks does not mean every earlier weekly objective remains available.
Sam's choice: choose this option when the goal is a change from familiar match rules. Pick one visible objective that fits the session, rather than planning around an unverified number of matches or guaranteed wins.
Guild Wars 2: choose your own festival pace
ArenaNet's Shadow of the Mad King 2026 announcement confirms festivities through November 3. Check in-game mail for Magister Tassi's Invitation to the Mad Realm. The announcement also explains alternative entry through haunted doors for players who cannot reach Lion's Arch directly.
Options include the Mad King's Labyrinth, the original Clock Tower jumping puzzle, the slower-paced Stopped Clock Tower variant and Mad King's Raceway, where rental mounts are available. The Annual Halloween Rituals meta-achievement offers the Primeval King's Wrappings headpiece and a choice of Fog Machine weapon.
Sam's choice: select one festival activity before chasing the annual reward. If the timed jumping puzzle is frustrating, try the stopped variant or another activity. That is a choice of pace, not a promise that the larger achievement will fit into 90 minutes.
Pokémon GO: check the phase change before hunting
The official Halloween Part I notice ends that phase at 10 a.m. on November 1 in each Trainer's location. Halloween Part II starts at that same location-based time and runs through November 5 at 8 p.m.
Part II introduces the chance to encounter Shiny Greavard and features seasonal encounters and research. Its free Timed Research lists six Rare Candies and an encounter with Sinistea wearing a bow; the announcement describes those tasks as automatically completed. Open the research to check and claim what is available.
Sam's choice: begin with the free research and a specific encounter goal. A Shiny encounter is chance-based, so it should not be the condition for calling the session successful. Timed Research rewards must be claimed before the stated expiration.
How do the deadlines translate for Sam?
For the fictional New York player, Pokémon GO Part II starts November 1 at 10 a.m. EST (UTC−5), or 15:00 UTC. Its November 5, 8 p.m. EST endpoint is 01:00 UTC on November 6. This illustrates why a location-based event has no single worldwide UTC deadline. Trainers elsewhere should use their actual location's event timer.
The NIST daylight saving calendar confirms that U.S. daylight saving time ends November 1, 2026. New York's November 2 Warframe deadline therefore uses EST, UTC−5. Reusing October's daylight-time offset would give the wrong conversion.
Use a 90-minute plan without promising a 90-minute grind
Sam can reserve the first 10 minutes for checking the event timer, account access and one reward goal; roughly 60 minutes for the chosen activity; and the final 20 minutes as a buffer for queues, reward collection and unexpected delays. These are suggested planning allocations, not measured completion times.
Before logging off, inspect any rewards that require manual claiming and check their individual expiration notices. Keep store purchases separate from the activity goal: enjoying an event does not require treating every advertised cosmetic as a task. The useful outcome is a session that fits the available time, with earned rewards collected before their relevant deadlines.
