Using a blender for a long time will cause the blade to become dull. However, not everyone is skillful and persistent enough to sharpen the blade inside, many people even throw it away and buy a new one because the blade is too dull. Sharpen blender blades with eggshells
Eggshells are a seemingly useless material, but they actually have more uses than you might think. Sharpening knives is one of them.
Step 1: Put the eggshells in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Take out the eggshells and put them in a blender with a little water.
Step 3: Press the blender and puree the eggshells with water.
Step 4: Pour the mixture of water and eggshells you just ground out. You will get amazing results.
Notes to make the blade durable
Do not sharpen the blade yourself
Blades that are too sharp can easily cut the user's hand, so you should choose machines that have built-in quick cleaning technology and removable parts for easier cleaning.
Avoid moisture
Humid weather will cause the blender to break down quickly. If you do not use the blender for a long time, clean it and place it in a dry place.
Store blades properly
Although the blade is made of stainless steel, you should not soak it in water for too long. After each use, you should clean the blender immediately, do not soak it in cups, bowls, etc. with grease because this will make cleaning more difficult.
Remove and install the blade properly
- Remove the base and smoothie cup.
- Use the tool to firmly hold the blade and observe the underside of the base, there is a screw that attaches the blade to the base.
- Use the screwdriver to turn counterclockwise and slowly remove the blade.
Note: To reassemble, follow the steps in reverse. Always disassemble step by step instead of trying to use a hard object to remove the blade from the cup.
