Instagram could roll out a way to share comments on other Instagram posts to Threads, according to Alessandro Paluzzi, who regularly analyzes Meta's social media apps to spot upcoming features.
Paluzzi shared an image that shows that when commenting on an Instagram post, there may be a new drop-down menu that allows users to choose to share the comment only to Instagram or "share to Threads as well."
Meta has made a few moves to integrate Threads with other platforms in the past, such as showing Threads posts on Instagram or Facebook (and then allowing users to opt out). The Twitter-like short-form social network also doesn't have its own DMs, but users can still send or receive messages via Instagram.
