What does the penguin icon mean?

The penguin icon is currently widely used by many young people on the social network Facebook. However, not everyone understands its meaning. The article below will help you learn the origin and meaning of the penguin icon, thereby understanding why it is so commonly used.

The penguin icon was introduced to our country around 2012. Social network users use this icon to reverse the meaning of the sentence they say. Or simply put, it makes the sentence have a completely different meaning from the original meaning expressed and is often used to tease each other for fun.

Example: This place is fun, everyone should go 🐧 .

When there is a penguin symbol at the end of the sentence, it means the speaker wants to imply, this place is boring, don't go.

In addition, the penguin symbol is also used by netizens with a "parody" comment of someone who is considered to be nonsense to laugh at and mock that person.
