Why are condoms always packaged in 3, 6, 12... pieces/box?

There is an interesting thing about condoms that few people pay attention to: condoms are usually sold in packs of 3, 6, 12… pieces. Why do manufacturers package so many instead of packaging each piece individually?

Below are some reasons why manufacturers choose to package condom boxes in quantities of 3, 6, 12… according to netizens.

Each box of condoms has at least 3 because putting on condoms is not easy. During use, users in a hurry can cause the condom to tear, slip or fall off. Therefore, the manufacturer packages 3 condoms in 1 package to ensure there is a spare in case of unexpected situations. In addition, it is normal for it to happen 2-3 times a night.

Men's familiar places to store condoms are the bedroom, wallet, trunk, in the car... Therefore, having 3 in 1 package will help people distribute it in different places for backup situations.

Many people feel embarrassed when buying condoms, so packaging 3 in a box will help users avoid having to buy multiple times, thereby encouraging safer sex.

The selling price of condoms is not high so the manufacturer packs 3 in a box to optimize revenue and increase profit margin.

A pack of 3 condoms can make a man feel more confident and masculine than 1 condom in a box.

As for the numbers 3, 6, 12… some people think:

• Box of 3: For young adults, use on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
• Box of 6: Suitable for grown men, 1 per day and 1 day off.
• Box of 12: Suitable for families, 1 per month.
