Why is the microwave not rotating?

The microwave oven will not avoid some unexpected problems like the turntable does not rotate. Here are the main causes of a microwave oven not rotating and how to fix it.

1. Because the rotating wheel and the rotating cylinder do not match

The first reason that the microwave turntable is not rotating is that the rotating wheel and the turntable are not yet matched.

Remedy: Check that the disc is correctly placed on the turntable. If so, you should take the wheel and turntable out of the microwave and see if they get dirty. Wash both the cake and the post and then put it back together. Note check the plastic coupling on the bottom of the tray during assembly.

2. Do not close the oven door

The second cause of microwave oven not rotating is when you encounter a situation that the oven door is not closed tightly or is not close, making the oven not work as expected.

Remedy: You need to double-check if the door is open before the oven starts. It should be noted that the oven door is fitted with a power breaker switch. Therefore, if the door is not closed tightly, it will prevent the oven from working.

3. Spilled food makes the oven dirty

The third reason that the oven does not rotate is that the oven is dirty because you leave too much food. When spinning, the food will overflow, causing the motor to short.

The Fix: It's a good idea to clean the microwave regularly, and especially don't put too much food in it. In case the tractor motor is damaged, you should replace the motor with a new one.
