Android has a file sharing feature similar to iPhones Airdrop
Currently the Nearby Sharing feature shares files for Android devices, which is similar to the Airdrop file sharing tool of iOS. Perhaps this is one of the features Android users most desire, they need a tool to connect devices using the same operating system.
Nearby Sharing function will work on all devices using the Android operating system, regardless of the manufacturer. Accordingly, Nearby Sharing will be integrated directly into Google Play Services, so phones with Google Play should be very convenient.
Sharing data through this function is quite easy, you can easily send files via Bluetooth even when there is no connection with nearby devices that can detect devices. File sending speed is rated as very high, even a lot faster than sending files through 3rd party applications today.
Currently Google is still testing this feature, but no official announcement. Accordingly, Google may launch in March on Android 11 Beta and will quickly update devices widely through Google Play Services.
Detailed instructions on how to use the Nearby Sharing file sharing feature on Android will be updated quickly when Google officially released.
